Droplet Series

The Droplet Series is part of the ongoing Weaving Water project. Found and recycled natural fibers soaked with river water or snow melt and dyed with organic indigo and woven on a SAORI floor loom by participants in Weaving Water, an ongoing social practice art project by Nassif that began in 2018. DROPLET 1 was created from yardage made in the fall and winter of 2022 along the banks of the Mississippi River in Minneapolis, MN and was funded by Mississippi Watershed Management Organization.
